I watched last night's interview, and there was one question that she started answering and I thought, "Wait a minute, what was the question she was asked?" And remembered what it was, and realized her answer had absolutely nothing to do with that question. It's like she started answering a different question, and then realized it and had to bring it around to the actual question.

She's cute and all, and speaks well on her feet, but it still seems obvious that she has no policies of her own. Afterwards, I watched the Jim Lehrer News Hour on PBS, and one of their guests recognized that she stumbled a few times, too.

I realize it's not going to matter to the people who love her (my conservative sisters), but I'm glad to know I have more reasons to not like her politically.

I don't know if I'd say she speaks well on her feet. I thought she came across in her interview as someone who'd been studying for a test and was trying to bullshit her way through. I'd be more inclined to say that she speaks well when she's got a speech to deliver, with a teleprompter in front of her.

These characteristics, and her efforts as a serial liar, won't matter to her fans. Those are the same people who loved George W. Bush, and none of his lying and idiocy has ever mattered to them. It's independents and those few on the fence who need to see behind the image-making.

I said "speaks well on her feet" but what I should've said was speaks well to a crowd or just speaks well .... as in, she's a good speechgiver.

Oh, I see--obviously, I thought you meant it in the sense of "thinking on your feet." We pretty much agree, then.
