Missouri Senate race
I just posted this to
kc_progressives:
The latest CNN poll has Talent and McCaskill tied at 49% in likely voters. But among registered voters, McCaskill leads 51-43. Assuming the numbers are accurate--and all polls in this race have been statistically tied forever--the big challenge is to get out the vote. If McCaskill can get enough of those "unlikely" voters out to the polls, she's positioned to win this thing.
What you can do:
- Vote.
- Convince your Democratic-leaning friends that they must vote this time. Drag them, if you must. It's too damned close to leave it to chance.
- Canvass. I have, and I will again. Sign up here.
- Make phone calls. Sign up here.
- Contribute cash. It's not too late.
More generally (not specifically for McCaskill), you can make phone calls on your own time with MoveOn. Sign up here.
